Jared & Julie Finch

Hello everyone!  We are the Finch Family.  We have lived in the HOA for 4 years & have loved raising our kids in the beautiful mountains.  Before moving to Sundance, our family spent 9 years living in Sydney, Australia. Coming to this area & neighborhood helped with the sadness of leaving a country we loved so much.  We have a house full of kids. Alivia (18) just started her first semester at Brigham Young University studying Special Education and will move into the dorms in August.  Rex (16) will be a Junior in high school next month and spends his summers working hard in Alaska & his winters skiing.  Lucy (14) will be a freshman and loves mountain biking and volleyball.  Jack (11) is often found doing anything that involves skiing, skateboarding, mountain biking & more skiing.  Samuel (8) loves playing in the woods, collecting rocks, bike riding and hiking to Stewart Falls.  Julie works as a personal assistant & Jared works for Morris Meetings & Incentives & we love any opportunity to sit on the porch together and enjoying being outside.  We feel like we live in a little slice of heaven at Sundance and love all the great people around us.

Steve & Linda Spiker

We have been married for 41 years and are the proud parents of 6 children and grandparents to10 rambunctious grandkids. We raised our family in Southern California where Steve worked in the Entertainment Industry and Linda taught yoga and blogged about organic, healthy cooking. 15 years ago, while visiting our son who was attending BYU, we drove to Sundance for lunch and returned owning a cabin. Upon Steve retiring, we decided to tear down our cabin and build our dream home. Steve’s heart is in the mountains and Linda’s is at the beach, so as a good compromise, we have a home in Sundance and in Newport Beach. Steve’s hobbies include golfing, fishing and traveling while Linda enjoys yoga, fitness and healthy cooking. You will often see us walking through the neighborhood wondering where the oxygen has gone.

Michael & Nancy Black

Michael & Nancy both grew up in Orem and enjoyed much recreation and involvement with their families in the Provo Canyon area and on the mountain. Nancy's parents owned a cabin on Timphaven Road, which they sold about 16 years ago, and Mike spent countless hours skiing and enjoying the offerings of Timp. After marriage, they moved to the Dallas area where Mike worked as a CPA and Nancy the domestic engineer for a very busy household.  They raised 5 daughters, who subsequently each came to BYU for schooling and ended up getting married here. Four of their daughter's live in the general area, with 1 living close by in Rexburg, Idaho.

After several years of traveling back and forth, the Black's couldn't resist the call of the mountain and felt fortunate to find a lot and build on Timphaven Road, next door to the cabin Nancy's family had built so many years ago. Originally planned as a second home to visit occasionally, they soon found out that family, coming back to their roots, and the beauty of the mountain was a pull stronger than they anticipated. After 36 years in Dallas, they sold their home and moved here 2 months ago. Mike and Nancy have a great fondness for Timp and the Sundance area and are thrilled to be full time residents now.

Ben & Vanessa Rucker

We are Ben & Vanessa Rucker. We met 16 years ago and have loved making our home in Utah. Along with our four kids, we love big adventures like cruising the Caribbean or small trips up Provo Canyon to fly fish in the river. Sundance is a magical place that we love and our kids can’t wait to ski the mountain everyday after school.
